What advice can you give on camping at Mount Little Station?

We have selected the most secluded, picturesque sites for camping along Hookina Creek. However, we do offer this information:

  • Don’t camp under a tree. These are ancient gums, and even though you may want a bit of shade, winds can cause limbs to fall during the night.
  • Store everything away safely. The weather can be unpredictable, so we encourage guests to wind in awnings and put away loose items before going to bed and when out exploring.
  • Put out your campfire. Sadly, a small ember can cause a catastrophic disaster and loss of lives and property.
  • Store your food & scraps. Don’t leave food out, as it will feed unwanted visitors.
  • Please recycle and pick up all rubbish. Each campsite has a recycle crate to separate cans/bottles and RUBBISH is for the bin, or you can leave it at the Check-in & Info Centre, where there are three different bins. Please follow the signs to sort on departure. Do not leave rubbish behind. Respect the environment and other campers.
